Thread: low port VS high port

I love threads like this. Both my cars have low ports.

Does anyone know if there is a difference between a lowport and lowport roller rocker? My roller rocker feels to have more power in stock form.

rr has higher compression and a 4 cw. So theres why u feel it stronger.

I have heard the RR head flows more than the low port and high port as well.

But like stratton said, there are more things at work making you think what you think.

i sure hope it's the lowport, I spent $100 on a lowport motor just for the head to be reworked and put on my (to be) bored RR block...

the highport intanke cam on a low port head with a t25 setup could keep power to the red line?

if i rev more than 6200rpms it´s just a waste of time

It will help, what really helped my high port was a ported intake manifold. For the first time ever I could bounce off a 7500 rpm revlimiter on a T25!
