I have nismo 740 side feed's and will have a calum realtime (thanks Erick) and was planning to just upgrade the current set up

However

I just got a bluebird long block and a set of bc 272 new in box. I am gonna do Cams, springs, ecu and injectors regrdless but should I

A: cam it and keep it a lowport?
b: cam the det head and put it on the lowport bottom end?
c: go the whole way and put the bluebird in

No cams in there anywhere? I would throw a good set in the mix myself.

GollumSi,
I can see your point on the benefits of a bb, being the compression is lower, the valves are sodium filled, iirc the rods are better as well. Also i read on ser.net archives that the high port will flow better than the lowport.
and piston squirters gotta respect those
that being said i do feel that the internals i have in the usdm motor will handle 500hp and if i swap the bluebird i am gonna have to mess with the harness to get it to work right with the us obd2 ecu as well which seems like a bit of a PITA to me.

thanks for the imput it is greatly appreciated and please keep the advice coming

ive ran a 10:1 jdm de with a t25, that **** was healthy. it was cammed with s4's and it made 240whp 230wtq.

that motor blew do to the waterpump belt jumping off and me not stopping lol.

i currently run a 9:5:1 jdm with a t28 and s4's, runs great.

a bb is much more stout and i have a thing for low ports when it comes to turbo sr20's.

id say run the balls out of the 10:1 with the cams s&r and when it blows swap all the **** over to the bb.

stratton.

It handeled DD dutie @ 15 psi till the tranny took a dump this fall.
I did put 110 in it way back when the sunoco station had it and turned the boost to 23psi. Had to gap down to .2 but she didn't blow.
