Woah. I'd suggest switching to a sprung disc and heavy duty PP.

My car is around 400 (depending on boost) and used for mostly road racing. ACT HD and sprung 6 puck has been working really well. Glazed the crap out of one once and it still wouldn't slip.

Right now I have B15 tranny, but on the previous T25 and then T28 setups I had the stock B13 SE-R tranny, saw 2 years of DD + track abuse and never had any troubles with that PP, but back then I was using the stock disc, hold up great and the engagement was smooth... Now engagement is really hard and pedal is hard as hell...

Yeah, the unsprung disks are known for messing up transmissions. Hence why I suggest switching to a sprung disk.

Back from the dead, Sorry guys today while talking to JWT they were saying that my current setup may not be up to snuff for my setup..
( not sure if they just want me to buy a new disc )

They recommended LSER1-ND2MD : http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/customer_part_detail.asp?PartID=312

JWT PP w/B15 disk again will this be good enough to run at the track on slicks ( AVENIR DET )
with supporting mods im hoping for like 250WHP or so per MIKO

Can anyone recommend maybe just a slightly more aggressive disk and keep my JWT PP as it only
has 20k miles on it.. I just dont wanna start grenading transmissions or have an insane pedal feel.

Would a sprung 6 puck and my JWT PP be a nice streetable setup and be pretty easy on my transmission?
Greg V suggested maybe a ACT sprung 6puck with my JWT PP.. Again

Just shooting for 250-300whp nothing insane.

Thanks Guys dont wanna buy the wrong setup and have a clutch from hell but also dont wanna launch
once at the track and burn it up!

I have a sprung 6 puck and it was hell without the miko clutch cable bracket. Its not so bad now, but I think that a full faced disc will last much longer than my 6 puck with kevlar or whatever the yellow stuff is.

Also have been told that a maxima clutch will fit with our motors.

look for a single sided metal disk. JWT used to offer one for our cars and it is supposed to work great. i run there 2 sided like the link you have and it is supper street-able holds lots of power and is not as bad as a full puck disk.

I used the ACT disk with JWT pp before and I loved it. Get the street/strip full-face disk and it should hold 250whp no problem.

Coheed,

Maybe ill get this, The JWT is $$ which I know it pays to play but If the ACT will do fine with my JWT plate why not..

Its just gonna be raced here and there on 22" slicks. And then just a fun street car. So if the ACT Street/Strip disk works good with the JWT PP why not.

This forum Rocks, For some reason Greg thought that JWT one would be super harsh but we may have confused two different clutches it was a brief phone convo.

Is the 8 puck full faced harsh? Im thinkin for 250WHP either the JWT Mentioned or ACT Street Strip.. Just needs to handle being launched on 22" Slicks at the track and the HP without being a nightmare to drive
