yes. you will need to use the 19mm gtir rod bearings.

and it will be a good upgrade. just use arp rod bolts and the setup will hold up to 400hp

Pistons = Same.
The rods from the GTi-R are the better of the two.

Nope .....same pistons , the differant compression ratio come from the differant heads
