Then your most cheapest and effective way to get to your goal would be to buy a JDM

DE (10:1 if you can find one) and boost it, with your left over money you can upgrade

other things like injectors, ecu, turbo, etc etc. This option is your best bet.

Ben, is this the motor I sold you a while back?

Yes the cheapest way is to buy another de/det. I'm personally prefer a re-build which is what I ended up doing after 2 de's going bad. It cost more but you have peace of mind that everything is new to your specs.

You don't have to get pistons and rods if not planning on going 400 plus. I didn't only because it was going to add another $1000 to my build. I kind of wish I did, but money was getting tight for me and the cost can add up. Swain coating would be a cost effective route. If you get another de/det, atlease change the rod bearings. Go VVL HG aswell. I've been through this all to many times so hit me up if you have any questions.

Yes it is the motor that I got for you lou. I will give you a call and we can talk options. I would like to go rebuild because I know what i have, instead of something that has been sitting in a yard for 10 years.
