Thread: Head stud selection

I didn't want to spam up anyone elses thread (Manny's thread), more and more, so I'm posting a new one.

I contacted that Kteller place, and they no longer carry the AEBS head studs. Anyone else have any ideas?

Or should I just look into a different brand of head stud? Someone mentioned Cosworth, and another mentioned GReddy.

Thoughts? I really don't want to go with ARP due to their design flaw.

I want a set also ....

how much power do you plan on making ??

the best option at the moment until we can track down the aebs... is the cosworth. studs.

I am also curious to know what your goals are.

I for one am going with OEM head studs. I will be purchasing them brandnew. We all know stock DET's and DE's are making well over 500whp all OEM and they are using stock head studs.

umm...what was the deal with the arp's??

bump dont know i got arps i mean i aint doin nothing crazy power wise but so far so good.

he's going for the over built route. in other words, he wants to support 500-600hp. atleast thats what I was led to believe.
