That is the elusive kangaroo/velociraptor girdle. Only a few ever seen in the wild. Mostly in AUS/NZ and remote islands owned by eccentric businessmen.

That mani is sexy. may i reccomend welding that plate on the rad support, smoothing it out and painting it. Or at the very least paint it.

Lol at answers. Reason I ask is that the guy who sold me his VE reassured me that there was a girdle on it (was SR16VE).

Turns out there isn't.

VE's do not have a girdle. However you can put the DE/DET girdle onto a ve, you just need to use the de/det or gtir bolts. You stick it right on top of the main caps and you have to use the de/det upper and lower pans. Other than that, piece of cake.
