Hey ... Make sure your Transmission to engine alignment dowels are in place ... thats what usualy causes the clutch disk splines to sheer like the disk in the picture .....I have seen grandma driving G20's do that when a dowel is missing !! I have seen 4 SR cars do that ... all missing 1 or both dowels and NONE were turbo ... 2 were bone stock ...

Now I am scared to up my boost. My clutch cable snapped last night those damn things are annoying but I'm sure when your clutch went it was a pretty bad feeling. Probably close to the same feeling I had when onr of my axles broke.

thanks, i have one missing too! im going to the dealer tomorrow for it...

Yea, we have over 50 7000rpm launches on 24x8x15 M/T slicks 400WHP big heavy G20 ..and never had any clutch issues ...well ... other than the 3 transmissions before the B15 trans and the broken axle ...

man, maybe im just getting the duds...

i met a guy today when i was trying to get that missing dowel pin. he works in the service dept at nissan, he has a vw pushing a little over 300@ the wheels, his clutch did the same thing....

at this point, im just gonna baby it... sucks

oh yeah, im on tranny number 4 or 5, lost count, i want a b15 or even a b14 tranny!
