Calum does not tune g20 ecus. You need to send him a 95-97 se-r MT ecu. That is what he told me and that is what I have for my se-l

If you're going to go with a calum ECU, either realtime or basic, don't waste the extram money on a g20 ECU. Those are generally worth more due to the no speed limit, and whatnot. Just get a 95~97 SE-R ECU, and send it off to him.

And as stated above, fuel atomization is better at 4bar, than at 3bar, and it's free power, so why not do it? Obviously you're going to want a FPR and gauge anyway, to fine tune your fuel pressure from a higher volume pump, so just up the injector rating and call it a day.

The reason I personally would choose a turbo timer, is because I run the car at the track doing test and tunes, and heads up track runs. I have a habit of jumping out of the car and turning it off when I get back to the staging pits, and that's not always good after doing a few hard pulls. Turbo timer is just piece of mind, tbh.

Now do you have a sr20de-t motor or did you add the turbo. Because the stuff on the intake manifold angers me lol, but what did you do with the ecu, just follow the write up for it to change it out or did you change the whole harness?

oh did not know that about the ecu, figured it would save some time for him tuning it to not take those out lol, ok 95-97 ecu it is! lol

yeah i understand the purpose of the timer, I've drove a few turbo cars and weather i drive it hard or not i always leave it running for a bit just how i've always thought of turbo cars and was taught by friends with them.

just because its turbo doesnt mean its not going to get bad gas mileage, esp if you have it tuned or have a tuned ecu, its going to get relitivly good gas mileage.... having the car tuned with the ecu or a external way of tuning method you can dial in the air fuel ratios for better air fuel ratios at idel, mid throttle and full throttle which will give you better gas mileage. the only real people who get bad gas mileage are the ones who have really rich tunes, purposly rich tunes, otherwise you can see good gas mileage with turbo cars
