With turbos under a GT35, use the stock cams. The JE pistons still have large valve reliefs, regardless of DE, DET etc. The stock 2.0 cams with valve springs will still make power to about 7500rpm or so. So I would def use the valve springs. 7500rpm can do fine on most VVL with stock cams, but you never know when you'll smack a valve.

Yeah, SC61 - /31/52 with a 0.82 back is a good choice. Makes 500hp easily at 18psi - 20psi.
But it´s a little bit laggy. Almost no power under 4500rpm but great topend for 600hp - 620hp.
SC6262 is my favorite and next choice, good for 650hp - 700hp.

I think a GT3071R or GT3076R T3 makes responsive 500hp with a good mani, exhaust and tune. "Full-boost" ~ 4200, with a good exhaust and tune a little bit lower. A friend of mine love this turbo on his 200sx. Me too.
As far as I can tell a 2871R 56ar 0.86 back T2 chokes the engine above 450hp and over 7000rpms. But great midrange power, starts to boost at ~3300rpm and holds the power ~ 6800 - 7000rpm.
If you go the T2 route, take a GT3076R-WG 0.86 a/r (biggest T2 internal wastegated) with a ported GTI-R mani. This turbo has a bit more topend then the 2871, but you must weld or buy a really good exhaust for low backpressure.
GT28RS disco potato is out of the question for 450hp.

T3 and T4s = old technology, but better then most people think.
