So... I got the "Brembo" brakes from the junk yard. Well, they sent me the wrong brakes...again. No problem, but I ordered a driver's side knuckle too... they sent me the passenger's side. At least the clutch pedal is good... I think.

I am trying to get this sorted though. Seems everyone likes to call everything a Brembo caliper because it sounds cool I guess.

I took the flywheel to the machine shop to have it machined down to fit. So that will take a few days.

At least the rear beam went in without a hitch.

I'm curious what the toe is like on the b15 rear beam, do you have any toe plates? Whats the price range on a b15 beam?

I got the whole rear beam with all brake hardware included for $200

I couldn't be happier with the rear beam. You can see it has less toe, but I have no way of measuring it.

Got the Nismo wheels today. They look real good on the car. But since only the rear is done, I can only comment on the rear lol. I put the wheels on to check fitment and the 225 has absolutely no problem fitting. Now... the front tires are the 235 and I'm not sure on those lol. I plan on burning through them rather quickly

Now I just need to source calipers, which after this whole ordeal I will have to probably buy new. I'm just tired of dealing with people who don't know what is going on. This is the 4th set of calipers I have gone through. Just like the Axle fiasco, the calipers are proving to be a downer. But no matter what, the car will be on the road in a couple weeks max. I plan on enjoying this car. I enjoy working on it as much as driving it.

Ok, finally got the front calipers coming. Got the right ones this time. I also have the correct knuckle on the way too, and I purchase new wheel bearings for them because they are no good.

I went to get the flywheel today, but the machine shop hasn't touched it. They have had it since Monday. I am sure you guys can relate to how frustrated I was. What a joke.

It seems like the only thing holding me back is other people's mistakes, and it's getting old tbh.

So I will be working on the car tomorrow, bleeding rear brakes, and modifying my new clutch pedal with my buddy's help. It doesn't look like the car will be running by next week though like I had planned. I just need to get the flywheel done so I can bolt up the transmission. I am very eager to get this done and see the final result.

Got the flywheel back a few hours ago. Looks great! I got the shifter finalized and mounted in proper location. Turns out one of the rods at the end were a little bent so I had to spend a little time straightening it out. The hole I had to cut came out beautifully and it seems Nissan even put a little spot in the chassis for you to cut out.

So I cut the hole and got that finished and smoothed out. I have fitted this shifter before without cables, and it fit really nice. But now I got it all 100% and it is rock solid. I did have to cut out a little bit of the center console, but I have customized it to fit. It should look decent when it is mounted up.

I got the clutch pedal ready to rock and roll, and the Transmission is ready to go in finally. I will be working on that over the next couple days in order to get it all finished. The car should be done in a week. All I need is the new spindle and brakes for the front and it will be done! I am really excited. It is sooooo close!

makes perfect sense!

Put the center console in today. the shifter cable just barely rubs the console with the way I have modified it. It looks pretty good, but will look better with a little work!

I'll take some pics tonight.
