Yes, they have been done before. But you guys need to understand that I have gone through 6 Spec V axles, ranging from AT to MT/ ABS and non ABS. I have six axles sitting in my garage. None of them will work.

There are some axles that can work. But we have got to figure out what the deal is.

Nissan changed spline counts between the 91-94, and the 95-97 axles. The 98-99 axles are smaller. The size between B13 and B14 are the same, but spline count on the shafts are different. 23 spline vs 25 spline, but they are interchangeable in most cases. Unless you plan on making a set of axles for this 6-speed swap.

I am going to start sourcing swap parts for the SpecV brembos. Just going to spend the extra money on new wheels-tires-brakes etc. This axle ordeal is going to be hell to deal with if the axle ever breaks.

Sweet guys. Well I just took delivery of my brand new axle! A whole rear beam assembly with all brake hardware (11" rotors ) for a mere $200 bucks!

I also got new front brake calipers (BREMBO BABY!), new 12" rotors, for only $270 which includes the core charge of $110. I will just play the ole "core" swaperoo and get my $110 back! So for under $500 in total brake parts, including knuckles, I will have a brand new brake system installed on the car. Can't complain there, as long as the calipers come as promised.

I am looking into a set of Nismo wheels to finalize the package and clear the huge calipers.

I also found what I hope to be a solution to the slave cylinder issues that not many have experienced. The availability of the p12 slave is... not available. So I am going to post my findings on whether or not this modified one will work or not. Wish me luck.

I am accelerating the project into full speed and hope to have a pretty clear outcome by the middle of next month. Most of it will be complete by end of this month depending on parts.

Car should look pretty sick with Brembo brakes and new wheels though. I am sad to see the OEM styling go, but it will be nice to have brakes to handle 400+whp.

The slave I have requires redrilling of the mounting holes. They are too small, so you need to enlarge them. The part you need is this:

Duralast/Clutch Slave Cylinder (12257) | 1995 Toyota Corolla 4 Cylinders A 1.8L EFI DOHC | AutoZone.com

I know the picture on the AZ site is wrong. Here is a better pic.

The holes need to be drilled larger, shaved mounting just slightly. And the only downside is that the bore is 13/16" instead of the P12 being 3/4". So I am not 100% sure it will work. But it looks very close to this:

bigger bore isnt better for that application?

i guess that means Mazworx doesnt have any either.

It will mean less pedal effort, but more pedal travel to get the clutch to release. In some cases, this could impact full release of the clutch. Therefore, I am not sure it will work.
