Calum RT or even basic with tuner code FTW. No way I'd do full standalone with this option on the table. Only those with tuner code REALLY understand how much better the oem ECU really is compared to standalone.

i love my nistune. i had the jwt but i just hated being limited on goin all out on my car.....id say that or calum if you wanted to jump to something real quick and its really not that bad to figure out. hell i just read til it felt like i could mess with it. ran pretty good. some of my buddys have megasquirt and i would love to use that on a build eventually. just go to diyautotune.com and check it out. hell you can even download the programs and see which one you like. but im diggin the nistune especially because autovaughn isnt that far away. once i fix this break line and get off my ass and do a few things im gonna test out some e85

I think the biggest problem is the fact you are running a Lightning MAF. You need to have the maf placement at least 12" from the turbo inlet. Do you have Nissan datascan?

With the datascan you should be able to log your maf signal and see if it is going static when your BOV recirculates. If your BOV doesn't recirc, then that is for sure an issue worth addressing.

I had nothing but problems with my lightning maf. I couldn't get it far enough away from the turbo inlet to get it to run right.

coheed i think u are right i just figure that out cause i notice when i rev the motor and let off the idle just got boucy also i was thinkig what if i put a piece of mesh over the maf like the z32 one has to try and straighten out the air what you guys think

It will help. The lightning maf has problems getting laminar airflow across the element. This is why I don't like them that much. Having a wire mesh over it will help a bit. I talked with Ben at JWT about this issue years ago and he said it would benefit to have a honey-comb style piece in the hose just before and after the maf to help with the issue. But because of the larger housing, air velocity is low and the air has the tendency to stall out. Especially when the BOV recirculates.
