Well yes any stand alone will be better, but is the cost difference worth it? Plus good luck if you have emissions. Stock ECU's still have all the emissions and OBD controls intact .

Exactly, the AEM EMS go for 1000+ while Calum is a lot cheaper, Id say it is worth it when you plan on doing some high HP

No I dont think he does, but with that setup he can get more out of it from switching from JWT to something he can actually tune...

To Taiden: Yeah that price is extremely low for an EMS... Thats why I asked how you liking it...

meh 16X16 fuel map and a 12x12 ignition map? The stock ecu gives you a 16x16 fuel and ignition map. Nothing wrong with the good old MAF.

use NDS to clear the stored memory in the ecu and start from there. Personally I have run my last stock ecu and have a stand alone for my ve-t
