JWT does not blow. It allows his car to run right now, maybe not the super ultra premium mode, but it runs and runs well, obviously. Ten years ago, no one would have said that.

If you want more timing, do it the old fashioned way. Bump your dizzy a few degrees each run and see where power falls off. Your sweet spot could be 3 degrees over base timing. But I hear JWT tunes very very safe on VE programs. DE is another story.

Viperdude your judging your jwt experience off of a n/a tune. Wich imho doesnt give you much exprience with how jwt tunes for turbo or turbo tunes general.

I am judging JWT by the fact that they are still in business compared to most companies that have gone under in the past decade. They are, obviously, not shit.

If I had a G20 ECU in there or even my stock ECU in there, you would probably say "Viperdude, you don't know anything about JWT because you don't have one."

They have shitty VE tunes from all that I hear from feedback posted from members on here.

If you really want JWT to help you and cost you an arm and a leg at the same time, use a wideband on your car and get datalogs. (I do not know if you do or do not have a wideband on your car, Coheed) They would help you until your bank account is empty.

Coheed, get a standalone and forget about it unless you want to do the wideband and dataloggin method. I am positive JWT could help get your car running to where YOU want/expect it to.

I think the AEM EMS is the way to go if you are really trying to make the most of your setup ....and I think the JWT is a great option for the ease of it all .....I mean heck plug in and go ...how do you beet that for ease ......if I build a daily driver b13 or 14 ....it will most likely be a JWT computer car ...

Most vehicles benefit a lot from more timing after peak torque.

JWT sucks as far as making the most out of a setup. It is great for those who aren't concerned with making the most hp you can and want a safe easy way to go. The thing is that he has to pass emissions with obd2 in his state, which jwt allows him to do. Running race gas on a program setup for pump gas isn't great for power either. It is safe but not at all going to get you great numbers. I would at least bump the dizzy a couple degrees with racegas on a pump gas program. You could get them to get you a race gas tune which would net you much more power and torque. Do they make a ecu with a daughterboard that can have more than one map and be switchable or would you need 2 seperate ecu's? I'm not sure, thats why I prefer OBD1 and testing the vehicle at the tailpipe, which is what they do in most states. Plus a B13 looks better, is lighter and handles better

Until a beam gets bent and then the 200SX handles better. Not to forget the lowport engine in the 200sx with the head that flows more than the B13 highport head can.

But, it does look a lot nicer than the upside down bath tub. That is for damn sure.

I may do the AEM, but a friend tells me there may be hope for the OBD2 guys in the near future. who knows. But the car def wants more timing.
