Most gains
I have a little bit of money and i want to make some gains in my T25 avenir motor i have 3 inch DP, FMIC should i go with a t28? but doesn't that mean i have to switch the J pipe and buy a different Down pipe?? I dont think i can afford that!! right now.. So my question is how much give or take HP would i make if i bought a set of pulleys, 3 inch cat back and maybe a plenum spacer??

what would you turbo guys suggest???

Nope you can still use your downpipe and J-pipe if you switch to the T28 turbo. There might be some slight modifications that you have to do like shorten the oil return, bore a bigger hole on the T25 Jpipe to fit the T28. Nothing complicated.

Now, if you wanna get some decent gains without changing the turbo get some S4 or S3 camns. I gained nearly 25WHP with my S3's.

the pullies are going to give you less rotation mass freeing up some power, and giving you some faster reving, i would say pullies with a turbo probably average maybe 5-10whp, even more with a aftermarket flywheel as that does the same effect by lightening up the rotation mass of the rotation assembly.

i completely aggree with MR best increase in power period without changing the turbo is going to be camshafts, even if its camshafts that are step 1 or that dont require a head build up, you will gain significant ammounts of power.

what are you using to tune your motor? air fuel controller?

I am using my stock JDM ECU for right now when i up the boost i always give it some 100 octane fuel but i have a A/F ratio tuner and am thinking about a Calum tuned ECU or reinstalling my SAFC2 but i hate the SAFC2 so i might just sell it and give calum a call..
I am still thinking about the route i need to go i have to destroy this pesky AWD talon and a LS1 camaro these guys are pricks they only get me by a car i am thinking that i should most likely also buy a set of grippy tires i have kumho ecsta's AST they suck....
**** maybe i will go the T28 route and buy me a set of nice 750 cc injectors and have calum do his magic hummm??? o yeah and get my FP turned to 4 bar that will help also....

well you have listed a few ways to make more power, but the camshafts are really the most efficent way to farther your gains once you up the boost, injector cc and fuel pressure. they will farther your gains over just going with larger injectors, better ecu ect.

but if camshafts you dont feel are the answer then i would go with more ecu tuning, advanced ignition timing, more fuel, more boost, and see what that gets you.

Go with the cams. From what it looks like by comparing the cars you are going against they are getting you with the ability to out pull you not really out power you. Do the cams with a set that will give you a stronger low end pull. Granted you may lose a little of your top end depending on the cams you choose and how you set it all up but cams sound like what you need to me. If they are only getting you by one car do that cams get that wicked low end torque and up the boost a bit for the top end compensation. That's what I would try.
