You said "7's". He had other questions too

I'm just picking at ya.

And BTW, it's BRK7E, not BKR. If he told someone BKR7E, they obviously wouldn't find it, because there's no such thing as an NGK BKR7E.

Btw they changed the part number. It's not 4644 anymore its 6097.

Nevermind, after looking at the BRK BKR thing I got the damn part numbers backwards in my head lol. 4644 is the current number, and 6097 is the old one.

I'm pretty sure I remember posting a thread with the PN's for the plug.

And you're right, it's BKR. Don't know what I was thinking. Had those flip flopped just like you had the pn flip flopped

OP- PN is 4644. NGK BRK7E. Gapped to around .038" should be fine.

Does the ignition timing make a difference on what gap they should be set at (17* vs 15*)? I have my timing still on 17* and have the 7's gapped to .038. The motor runs A LOT cooler, even after a 100 mile drive the hood was still cool to the touch.

However I have two issues.

1. My boost is spiking to 10 pounds even though I am using the stock internal wastegate on a t25. Before changing the plugs I was not passing 7-8 pounds.

2. When I am 40-50% throttle or WOT I hear the turbo spooling up and see 10 pounds on the boost gauge but the car feels so sluggish. It's like it's running out of steam. Does this seem like the spark being blown out due to too much fuel? I never had any issues with the old plugs and didn't change any settings on my SAFC II. At partial throttle there is no lag or sluggishness.

found this in another thread about blowing out the spark
