Man only 25k miles? Any clutches that last longer? This is my daily with some occasional autocrossing. Max goal is 300whp, or what ever feels fast enough on the fatty-11

V, you're crazy if you think your MODIFIED car will keep a clutch alive longer than 25K miles. The average use period for aftermarket clutches are 15K~25K. If you want something to last longer, stop modifying your car and go back to OEM.

I've seen people drive the hell out of their cars and replace clutch discs every 3 months.

to be honest its just the aggressive nature of the clutches themselves that dont allow them to last as long. harsh engaugements, beating on the clutch, making high power. they just are designed to last for a long time.

What do you guys think about a white bunny setup?

Getting a clutch from a truck should help a lot, since they are built to withstand loads of torque .

I really like that white bunny setup. Once my eBay special F1 clutch kicks the bucket I may look into that more... I would love to have a more stock "feel" with the added support for power.

Well the clutches only have a 90 day warranty. Which is understandable. Talking to BenFenner it seems like the pucks are definitely not for DD/city driving plus traffic.

I'm definitely considering a disc setup. Maybe a B15 disc?

I currently have an Exedy Stage 1 pressure plate, but probably will have to upgrade it to work with disc setup.

Yellow seems similar to what my Exedy Stage 1 might be, so might have to go with the Red one.

if they have the fx300 from clutchmasters i highly recomend it, its the kelvar full face disc, used it on my b16 setup, great for decent power and full face for daily driving.

This is exactly what needed to be said.

Yah and that's being pretty generous, used for road racing. In stop-and-go daily driving a cermaic puck clutch will go much quicker. They are meant to bite, not to be slipped. You certainly can slip them if you're good, but you shouldn't.

I think it did hold. He just didn't treat it the way it was meant to be treated.

I'll generally dissagree with this. You can have 60k+ mile service from a low to moderately modified setup if you spend the money to get the right equipment. Ceramic and pucked clutches are cheap. They aren't "right" for this application though.

Good luck, clutch parts are wear items and warranty will only cover parts failure. Technically, nothing failed.

I had an 8 month old ACT disc that popped a spring, ACT wanted me to send it in for evaluation. By the time they would have evaluated it, and made a decision to give me a new, I already got a new one, so I never sent it in.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting it, but was worth a shot.

I would still send it in to ACT, get a different brand clutch, and sell the new ACT one
