Clutch Gone?
Just removed my clutch from the Turbo Sentra, looks like the clutch might be gone now .

New:

Now:

Definitely looks glazed, and the kevlar is down to the rivets, which means it probably will be not usable. I never had it slip on me, always gripped well. Not sure what could have caused this. Look at the Pressure plate and flywheel, both look good.

Could it be improper break in? Wonder if warranty will cover it.

I don't see any hot spots. Just looks like the disk is worn out.

Hmm wonder if it's just the weak material for the disc or something.

I drove it nicely for 200 so miles. I can't imagine improper break in causing excessive wear. I can see improper break in causing hot spots or uneven wear, etc. though.

Looks like normal wear to me. Do you ride the clutch a lot in traffic?

No sir, though I'm thinking it could be cable clutch that didn't release the clutch all the way. Just didn't expect to eat the clutch in one year. Maybe the material is too soft?

Not sure if I want to shell out another $160 on a Clutchnet to have it die a year later.

Possibly cable release point. Switch to hydro and get more life AND lighter pedal feel!

yeah i dont really see the improper wear being the issue as like you stated there arent really any signs of excessive Wear on either the flywheel or clutch where you would normally see excessive wear from improper break in
