Thread: Bigger turbo or s4's???

I am about to turbo my b13 with a basic t25, n60, and 370's@4bar. Now my question is should I buy the s4s with this setup or grab a gt28rs and run that until I upgrade to some 550 so I can really see what the turbo has?

Am I crazy here?? I think the turbo makes more sense, but why not ask to get some opinions

I would get the s4's. I would not have a turbo setup with out them.

I would not try and run a gt28rs on 370cc injectors. I made 270whp @ 10psi with mine which would be at the very edge of your injectors.

I can get a gt28rs for half what the gt2871r so that's why it's between the cams and turbo

if you can get a gt28rs for the price of cams then buy the turbo. Just keep the boost down until you can larger injectors.

eh the 28rs is ok, good for fast spool but not big power. i would rock the s4 till i could get a 2871r or bigger

Dont really have any need for 400whp power.. the 28rs is perfect for what I want out of my DD turbo car, quick spool, nice powerband and with some s4's some decent topend.
