T28 from last gen Z
Would the T28 turbo off a last gen Z work on a FWD SR with a GTIR mani ?

Just wondering cuz we got the turbo for free and we have a spare B13 lying around.

The Z32's come with T25's stock. Me and my friend had a big argument about this because I thought they came with T28's. He got one from someone with a twin turbo Z and looked up the serial number and found out that it was indeed a T25.

I thought the Z32 came with dual T22 turbines? I could have sworn I had seen it somewhere, and was like "WTF?" I didn't know T22 turbines existed, tbh.

I'm with Tekkie and Crim needs to chime in (he has a TT Z32) They are T22's. The TT turbos are smaller than our T25's.

Thanks for the good info guys.

I appreciate it, the owner of the Z is currently installing new T28's. I'll let you know the outcome.

Next question though, would the stock T25 work on a FWD SR ?

I think you would need a custom o2 housing. If i remember correctly the bolt pattern on the exhaust housing is different than our fwd turbo's exhaust housing. The turbo's are a t25 but i think they flow less the a bb t25, they are a bit smaller. I think the jdm ttz had larger t25's and produced a bit more power like 300-310 or somthing. Dont quote me on any of this because its been a long time since i looked into ttz info.
