Thread: What could I get for a GTiR Longblock - Turbo stuff?

I figured this was the best section cause the turbo guys should know.

If I bought a complete gtir engine off ebay or wherever, and took off all the turbo stuff from manifold to manifold, how much could I sell the longblock for do you think? it would just be the block + head, no turbo, no injectors, ect.

I am not sure i think you should be able to get around $800.00 or so if its in good shape. just remember if you are gonna use the gtir intake manifold on a de or det besides a gtir engine you will have to do some customizing to get it to fit.

Yeah i'd say probably around $800, you just might have a hard time selling it. it may be in the for sale section for awhile before someone buys it.

how much do you want for the ITBs and plenum?

I don't actually have the engine, and if I got it I would be using those parts.
