Thread: avenir swap in b13..problems!

avenir motor in but not starting.
getting spark, and fuel.

using msd 550cc inj with cobra maf. and jwt ecu programmed for this setup.

the engine dosent even want to start with starting fluid...i need some opinions.

everything on this motor was in working condition when removed from the other motor.

previsous motor was a gtir with different jwt program.

it just cranks and dosent start.

need opinions

If it won't hit on starter fluid, you need to check mechanical and ignition timing. Be careful though, loading up the cylinders with fuel can bend a rod quickly.

you had your ECU retuned?

check the spark plugs, and check that they are getting spark...

also remember GTiR use topfeed injectors while avenir uses sidefeed injectors...

got car running....injectors were not firing...got a new set and theyre good. still got to work out some minor bugs.
