Thread: need help with downpipe choice

The problem is, by your explanation, I could conceivably make a combination of parts that satisfy all of your descriptions, yet when mixed and matched would still work with one of the two available downpipes. It's actually not crazy to assume Nissan did this.

Only you would conceive such a thing from something that simple.

From the time you mixed 2 parts that are the logest you should already know there is no D pipe made for it.

longer GTIR manifold and longer Bluebird J pipe.

and you come up with if then they come to the same length.

Something is seriously wrong with my brain. I feel like I'm going senile. Everything makes sense now when I read it, but 10 minutes ago it didn't. Either you've edited all the posts secretly to say something they didn't before, or I'm losing my mind.

Both these down pipes were made on cars I dropped off there.

Made in Year 1999 on ( Red 200SX SER 1997 ) making 348 WHP with DP turbo on GTIR maniofld and GTIR J pipe Owner ( Joe form Caman Islands )

Made in Year 1998 ( Black Sentra SER 1992 ) making 265 WHP Bluebird motor with S3 Cams. owner ( Roger Paris )
