Traction Bars?
What's the general consensus on the traction bars over Prothane motor mounts?

I'll be looking to have traction (no wheel hop preferably) but I want to leave the car comfortable .

Doesn't seem like many people make P11 traction bars anymore, thus I am considering making a set too.

Note: This is in the Turbo section because I don't think other setups have enough torque to actually benefit from Traction bars, I could be wrong though.

You could just do a solid metal front dogbone and leave the rest of the mounts stock, but nobody ever listens to me.

traction bars with solid urethane mounts IMO best way to go and thats what i run.

swiss I'm not sure that would accomplish Vadim's goals. He doesn't want extra vibration if he can avoid it. A solid front mount is the last thing he'd want to do, right?

We do listen to you. I had prothane front and back on my Sentra. Sure it didn't vibrate as badly as all 4 solid, but it still was bad enough. Plus the engine pitch gave the wife a headache.

Basically I'm looking at what OEM does to avoid wheel hop. Traction bars seem to be up on that list.

yeah Id say traction bars is the way to go...

In the near future Id like to get ones as well so complement the urethane motor mounts

The solid dogbone stops wheel hop very effectively, even with stock mounts on the other three. My personal favorite setup is with stock sides and an ES insert in the rear, but even with a stock rear, you shouldn't get much if any hop. Most importantly, that puts off considerably less vibration than all 4 prothanes or even a prothane rear.
