swiss, i got solid front, and the rest prothane. I get no hop on the street, but at the track it is miserable.

I had to sell my dogbone mount, but I think I'll be welding one together similar to what Serban did a while back. If I do that that probably will be my only solid mount.

When I went from 4 prothanes to the sides being stock, I did gain a little bit of wheel hop, but mainly kept on breaking traction more then with all 4 solids.

Which brings me to the next question, do traction bars reduce traction loss or only wheel hop?

Yeah, I don't doubt it, hop is always worst at the track. We've only got an 1/8th mile track here (and I super suck at drag racing :o) so I didn't really go to the track much. Even when I went though, it was never really bad with the solid mount.

Just out of curiosity, do you have the Turbotime style mount, or the Custom Steel one? I don't have any personal experience with the CS one, but I don't like that it still has a urethane insert. Even though it is pretty firm, it still has some give to it (especially when you throw a few hundred ftlbs of torque at it).

Look at my old prothane mount after several years:

^^^ that's what my mounts looked like after like 3K miles. I thought it was normal lol. They are still in there. Only the rear looks like that though. I went with a solid front dogbone. Courtesy of Andy. (carfreak240).

i would say traction bars+ full poly mounts and a 100% solid dogbone and you will be pleased, i have this setup, would like traction bars, but dont want to sacrifice turning radius

It hurt's the turning radius?

Gar I can't do that then, 37 feet turning radius sucks as is!

from my understanding, i thought it gave you less travel i may be wrong though, i might be wrong, i cant seem to find anything while searching ?

Couldn't find anything myself, bu I can see why, it reduces the amount of travel. I wonder if it helps with handling though, similar to strut bars/sway bars.

I also ovaled out my rear prothane mount in about a month. I jave thought about making my own bars, seems simple enough for a doof like me
