officially think my car needs rebuild
so after all my shit with pur automotive, a few days later i on the highway and i need to pass someone. Bamb i hit 14psi or close to it, and i pass, i start to smell oil. I was like wtf ...? then get home and check it out, bam there is oil all over my hood, on the passenger side, rad fan, cooant inlet.... i am like wtf.

i see oil coming out of the Valve cover on that side and thinking ok, i wipe it down and change it. I had a spare... no more oil coming from there, i go visit a friend and bam same thing i hit boost and i smell it again.

so i get to friend house pop hood and i see my dipstick sticking out, then i think to my self NO this no good i am getting blow buy. i check my pvc and pipe for kinks nothing, i do a compresson test and its avg is 182, the next thing i need to do is a leak down test.

but i really think its compresson rings. i am not blowing smoke, or burning oil but i am leaking it.. but this would explain my leaks, i am putting the crankcase underpsi.

is there any other ways to test this, other than leakdown or compresson test.
i really dont wanna rebuild my engine.
the engine is, same as my sig

thanks guys for help

x3 the intercooler piping and routing of the vac line could be the source of your problem.

your getting blowby into the crankcase. which is usually what happens when you have a cracked ringland or bad rings. More than likely all that stuff that happened at the shop if they tried dyno tuning it and messed up it might have gone lean and done some damage, thus popping your oil pan gasket like you mentioned before was leaking, blowing the dipstick out, and blowing oil out the valve cover vents.

Been there done that many many times. I hate seeing all these shops lately destroying peoples cars and not giving a crap.

My built motor had a bit of blowby but not like that. mine was caused because my top rings locked themselves into the ring grooves on one end when i first started my built motor and had no oil pressure for the first 3 starts for about a minute or two worth each time. Damage was done but motor still ran great just with a bit of blowby.

I had to secure my dipstick down at first but once i redid my catch can setup to use 3 vents on the valve cover it wouldnt blow the dipstick out anymore.

So im gonna guess you definetly went lean and cracked a ring land or two. My buddies nx just did the same thing on his t28 de motor thats been boosted for 2 years with no problems and wastegate line popped off and he hit probably 25+psi on a t28 with only a 370cc, 4 bar program. Now hes getting blowby under boost and spitting oil out the valve cover breather. Motor still runs good but you can hear the weak cylinder.

the line from the pvc valve could be blocked or the oil line off the valve cover being blocked would cause all the same issues. You will not know until you look or do a leak down.
