


im running the 2871rle and its nowhere near laggy at all. and in running 8:8:1 compression. all the times ive had my car on the dyno the shops have always been real amazed at how quick the spool is. so imo a 2871r is a great way to go and probabl the best smaller sized turbo for the sr20s
well, we all have definitions and thresholds of what 'laggy' means. Granted, I went straight from a T25 to this 2871R so it's a little more extreme, but FWIU, the 28RS spools quite a bit quicker than the 2871R.
lol, ya, not going over 2500rpms seems to have caused my engine to start burning oil..
