ssqv causing compressor surge
I'm having a small problem with my BOV not opening in time causing my car to compressor surge in between shifts. I am running a hks ssqv and if I build full boost it will let out pretty loud surge followed closely by the ssqv whistle. Does anyone know why this is happening? I would like to get it fixed asap, I imagine this can't be a good thing.

Can you put different springs in it?

Someone told me they use a double diaphram design and you can't swap springs out.

Two things. Can you take a vid of the Surge? Sometimes the SSQV sounds like its surging but its not. When I first installed mine I had it on a weak ass vacuum source and it was actually surging. I then ran a specific vacum line to the BOV and it fixed the problem.

I'm starting to as well. If I want to get rid of this bov I have to change my IC piping.
