Mabe a lil the b15 tranny and g20 tranny are equally as strong the only difference is the g20 5th gear is longer so you can hit a higher top speed but to my knowledge it isnt that much. If you have your hand on a b15 already then just go ahead with it. They are the toughest trannys except the 6 speed swap.

yeah thats what i heard as well. A 6 speed swap would be nice but too much $$ and time for me...i'll stick with the 5spd lsd tranny lol.

yeah if you wanna spend the extra money u can get it cyrotreated and shotpeened it will def make your tranny a little stronger and tougher i believe it adds somewhere around 25% more power but its def worth the money. Mazxorx had a 6 speed for sell a few weeks ago for around 850 i beleive it was, pretty sweet deal.

cool cool.. I heard about getting a tranny cryotreated and shotpeened before, I just never knew how effective it was. Now I know, thanks. I probably might consider that option once I get this new turbo setup and my engine built. At that point I would definitely need a stronger gearbox.
