Thread: question about bored maf

i wonder if my ecu tuned for stock maf could work fine if i put a bored maf on my set up
i want a better flow the stock maf looks very very restricitve.

other question: it´s true that the stock maf goes maxout faster when its used on a blowtrhoug configuration?

if you're not making close to 250whp the're's no need for a bored maf.

No I dont think that you will have any problems with a bored housing... but your stock se-r maf will max about 250whp on drawtrhough, not sure on blowtrough but it will max faster.
I maxed mine at about 12-13psi on a T25

Mine's maxed out bored to 54mm (I think... I have the paper somewhere) at 9psi blowthrough.

I'm reverting back to drawthrough when my new BOV arrives and I get some more Argon for my TIG.

DE mafs dont work very well blow through.

Don't waste your time on a bored maf. Grab a n60 for 30 bucks or so.

i had an n60 maf but my ecu its a jwt programed for stock maf, thats why i didnt use the n60.

i just want a little more power from my t25, right now its runing at 8psi, my plans are turn up the boost to 10-12 with alchy injection and a higport lintake cam.
