Thread: Exhaust system....I need your ideas?

Good work so far. I feel yah on the tight spaces and exhaust nuts. I hate taking off my downpipe. =(

Who said that a 4" system wouldn't fit...























and the solution to the big hole for the side-exit exhaust, which I am going to use for the external wastegate pipe...



Unfortunately, I ran out of gas just as I was starting to actually weld the system, so it will need to wait a few more weeks...doh!

Anyways, I'm buggered and my eyes are killing me, just glad that the hard bit is done!

That's how it's done.

That is truly insane. The proverbial "sewer pipe" exhaust.

Nobody could say a 4" tip on the exhaust was rice.

that's is friggin ridiculous...actually insane is more like it.. 4" all the way down?! i'm surprised that sucker fit between the dipped seat area so well!! awesome job so far!!

what resonators and muffler did you end up going with?

The silencers are all custom order from 'Cobra Exhausts'.

Two at 5" diameter, 12" length and the final silencer is 6" diameter and 12" length.

I miss fabricating. It's so much easier than what I have to deal with regularly and you get to be creative.
