PCV Valve Alternative
i'm trying to finish my turbo car and there's so much crap out there about PCV valve and vacuum routing it's driving me nuts. can someone please and clearly answer this?

if you run a catch can with an open "vent to atmosphere" filter on it, do you have to have a PVC valve? if so, can you run an inline check valve in its place?

thanks in advance.

Just run the PCV. It goes straight to your manifold anyway. And a new PCV is only a couple bucks from a parts store.

i have an -AN fitting in its place at the moment which is why i want to run an inline one.

I capped it off on the intake and ran the pcv to my catch can. I probably could have just plugged it. I run my crank case vent to the vc then to the catch can at the t. I'd rather have more flow than risk pressurizing things and causing oil leaks.
