well if you ever go external gate, just weld the flange to the stock mani. that's what i did and it works perfectly. i recommend synapse too, i have the 38mm and its pretty nice. and as long as you use a T2 turbo on the stock manifold you don't ave to spend any more money on that stuff.

or you can get all ghetto like me and fab up your own DP and use a junkyard holset. lol. cheapest and fastest setup i've had. just got the turbine housing ported for mine too.

That's probably what I'll do if I stay with what I got. And I just got a bunch of mandrel bent piping today, too. Like 15 minutes before my turbo exploded.

I got the turbo off and it's FUBAR! The shaft is in a couple pieces inside the CHRA.

Pulled the turbo off and this is what I found.




It's the same on the compressor side. The shaft is in a couple pieces inside.

i might sell my GT3076R soon, or a freshly rebuilt GTIR turbo, hell with some work i have a Greddy 18g that should work. if your interested in any of them let me know.

That sucks, I'm afraid of the same thing happening after I put a bunch of time and money on rebuilding a block.

I do have a spare ball bearing T25 if you are interested.

That was ages ago, I figured you didn't want it now . I actually wasn't planning on selling it, just happened that someone needed it more then me
