BOV toast?
Ive been having a nasty boost leak a couple days after I did my turbo swap, made a boost leak tester and put some air into the system and the stock recirc valve started to let out air. I thought my issue was because the TB was closed so I had a friend sit in the car and hold the gas pedal down and tested it again, same issue, the valve just leaked. Made sure the vac/boost line was not clogged, even tried the signal that goes to the wastegate and still have the same problem. Tried it without a signal going to the valve and leaks the same amount of air. The air leaks as soon as pressure is applied to the system but when driving around and getting into boost I can hear the valve working. Can a bov still work and leak air at the same time?
