no! if it works properly it sends the right signal, if it malfunctions it sends the wrong signal...
since you have a safc why dont you lean it out and see what happens...

Ill try that and see what happens, just frustrates me because it was working perfectly before and now all of a sudden it wants to run ridiculously rich all from changing my fpr around. I had to unplugged or messed with something somewhere for it to be running like this just dont know what. I picked up another maf anyway just for the benefit of the doubt.

Im running a jwt ecu now, is it possible for the chip inside of the ecu to go bad or something I did swap out the ecu for another one but I swapped the chip with it because I only had the one chip. Idk just a thought mabe.

So im not sure what the normal is for the 0-5volt signal from the maf to the ecu but mine is running about 1.36 at idle but it doesnt seem to go much higher than 2.5 whenever I rev it up in neutral.

for future reference it ending up being the safc, it was fried. It was taking the signal and dumping way too much fuel, i took it out and it run way better.
