So dumb of me to forget this. Thanks Shawn B and Vadim.

That is why I broke my transmission. My mounts were wasted. After I dropped my first one, I saved up some money for mounts and got Prothane motor mounts. By far, the best thing that I got in the car is the Prothane motor mounts. Motor mounts are a number one must-have because they were so cheap and relatively easy and are just so much better for your car in putting horsepower down, and keeping it down to the wheels.

But if you are boosted already and on stock mounts, I applaud your rather large, brass ones my friend. You are dancing with the devil using boost on the stock engine mounts.

yep reinforce the motor mounts and fill in the void around the passenger side axle. this goes a long way to keeping the tranny intact. I ran my stock b13 tranny well over 300lbft with out breaking a single thing. I have a 02 p11 for my bigger setup since I will be over 400lbft.

Anything over 6 psi will blow your transmission into pieces.

No sense in swapping out/rebuilding your current trans now if its functioning properly.

I don't agree. I think beefing up weak points BEFORE they break is a much better option. Imagine your transmission breaks, and it takes 2 weeks to find a decent deal on a B15 LSD transmission... you're without a ride for 2 weeks..

But if you buy a better transmission before hand, install it and you're car is only down as long as it takes you to put it in.

Ya really cause I was running 16psi all day with BC2 cams and my stock b13 tranny is still alive...Guess you need to learn how to drive. It will soon break on the new 60 trim setup though Time to look for a p11 tranny.

ferrari4a was joking bro.. he's never had problems with his B13/B14 transmissions on his turbo'd vehicles..

I have destroyed 3rd gear in two transmissions in the last two years. One @ 200whp, and the other @ 250whp. Both times I was shifting into third kinda quickly. I think if you slowly shift into third you can save it, but what's the fun in that? My next transmission will be a b15/p11 for sure.

as someone said I think luck might be a fact, I had a B13 tranny on my turbo setup for over 2 years, 7 months of daily driving and daily abuse pushing 263lbs/tq and never had a problem, untill like 4 months ago I sold it and bought a B15 tranny...
