TB cleaner??? Opinions need asap...thanks
What is a good TB cleaner for a GTiR set up?

Can i use a TB cleaner to clean my TB and intake manifold?? If can't what is the best and safest way to clean my TB and intake manifold.

thanks in advance for your input.

yes you can use TB cleaner on just about anything on your motor, don't be scared. Any of them should be fine, I've used everything from napa to gumout. Just stay away from electrical wires and sensors, the stuff likes to eat paint and plastic if you leave it on too long. You can even start the car up and spray it if you want, won't hurt a thing, just don't get too carried away and don't leave it sitting in anything, especially not your cylinders, be sure all of it is wiped or burned up (if in the cylinder of course). I personally prefer to take things apart to clean them though and it's not hard to pull a TB and IM.

I can shoot the TB cleaner in the intake manifold and TB right? then connect the couplings back to the intake manifold and start the car.

I think my butterflies on my TB on my GTiR set up is dirty or stuck so I think it needs to be cleaned.

thanks for the input.

bump more input please.
