Thread: Too Much Boost???

ok my bolts are coming loose and are falling out of the manifold where the turbo meets the j-pipe on my bluebird set-up, i replaced them once and now it's happening again, are any other turbo guys having this problem???

any solutions???

keo i remember you telling me that before, but i went to the auto stores and asked my mechanic, and they all looked at me like i was speaking spanish, i looked it up, now i just gotta find them, it says homedepot or ace hardware

Man, this happens a lot...

it even happened on my stock t25 setup from the factory... I took the turbo off in December and there were like 2 bolts holding the j-pipe on...

Do a combo of what they said, use red lock tite, a lock washer, and slap an e-clip on there for triple insurance hehe

Happend to me also. I think its more of how your downpie is run then anything else. The vibration is what knocks the stuff loose.

lock NUTS, the copper ones from ATP or McMaster Carr work great.
