Wideband Routing/Splicing..?
Hey,
I've had wideband wire coiled in my engine bay for quite a while now, but have been putting it off because I can't really decide on the best/easiest way to route and splice this.
It's currently in the engine bay, so if I kept it like that I'd have to go underneath the car and all the way back to the bung which is near the middle of the car. I can't really figure out what else to zip tie the wires to other than the fuel lines. I know those fuel lines get pretty hot. I'm not sure if they get hot enough to melt the wire if I zip tie it there. I'm also a little worried about the wire getting snagged on something underneath the car and then ripping up a fuel line along with it. Anyone got better ideas on routing the wires or would they be fine zip tied to fuel lines?
Also, I'm not sure where to splice this. I'm already using the cigarette lighter for my EBC. Any ideas on an easy place to splice? I think it requires a 15amp or better source.
As always, thanks for the help! Wideband is the next thing I want to get complete and then on to A/C
