Sure, but airflow does limit the amount of boost I can run. Seems my engine don't really like to make over 300lb ft of torque on pump 91. When I get a way of monitoring knock, I am going to see how far I can push it safely. I bet 18psi could be had without issues.

you need a precision accelerometer and vibration meter. they cost about $1500 though. I used to access to them at work. I am just going to use the stock knock sensor with my aem setup. I would love to have a vibration meter but they are not cheap and very fragile. the accelerometers tend to drift and need to be calibrated every 6 months with high use. We used them at work to make sure our blower motors were balanced.

BTW!

Got the wideband in today.

Seeing about 11.1 A/F ratio at full throttle @ 15psi. Should I go higher? heh..maybe 16psi.

One thing I've noticed is that my boost starts to fall off a bit to around 13psi by redline. I heard this could be related to a w/g spring that's too soft. The gain % on my EBC is around 25%, maybe I should keep raising it until I don't get so much fall off.

I'm trying to figure out how you know what boost level is safe and why. How do you know the point where you need to increase the octane and run race gas?

gomba I have to apologize. The way you worded your question the first time and the time frame it was posted (after a rash of recent newbie threads) had me thinking you were making a joke thread to poke fun at all the newbs.

I'm sorry for derailing your other thread. I could have sworn it was just a joke. :o:o:o:o:o
