Thread: HItting Dyno today - what do u predict

so i fucken went to the shop tonight just to see if my car was in or out side. I get there and its in the shop. I see someone walking around so i knock on the door and this guy answers and i ask if him i can get something out of the car .... a lie just to see whats going on.

I take a look there is a fucken puddle of oil under my car, my ecu is open (tunning purpose) my bov is not finished.... its been like fucken 2 weeks. what can i say the guys who is working on mom passed last thursday and he has not been in to work.

So i ask the guy who let me in wtf is with oil under my car. my bov is not recircualted when i ask for that,... he was like not sure but dont worry about it when u get ur car back it will be 100%. I am like ya its been 2 weeks and my car didnt leak when it came in here. He wouldnt let me look under the car to see, he wanted me out. So i left and i plan to call again tomorrow around the same time i have been for 2 weeks and see wtf is up becasue i brought them a wrkin car no leaks ( i made sure).


i am so pissed like i know i wont sleep tonight over this FML

well, your like the 3rd or 4th person this year with letting shops ruin a car. Hopefully yours turns out alright and gets done. This is why i always do my own work, my own tuning, and never let anyone else work on it.

i do my own shit, u dont know how pissed i am at my self for not intalling some shit, and just fucken streeting tunning my shit. or buying a nistune and making life eazy... that my next option if this guy cant get my ecu wrking...

I've had a bad experience w/tuner shops and all they did was weld up an exhaust for me! Bah! I hate those places!

i just hate this shit... like the guy and shop are reputable and i have like 5 friends who went there and they did great work... so i went

yeah i had a reputable shop work on my car once. they pinched the oil feed to my turbo and blew 2 of them before I took the car home. They didn't pay for any of it either since it was "aftermarket."

thats not cool at all. i know the drain plug drips a bit. So i the tunner called me today and we spoke about the car and the situation. So he is comming back to work on monday and working on my car, they are putting his mom to rest on friday.


the good news is that using a det bin and address he was able to communicate with the calum basic and is able to tune it, and that the bov he didnt have the 1inch piece to weld on. So its kinda looking up.

it just sucks the situtation of his mom, he even said that if this didnt happen the car would be done alot sooner. I just wanna hit the track i dont care about numbers anymore just get my car running and i wanna build boost. I feel like i am 15 rolling about around in my rents car or useing my gf car all the time... with the car down i save alot of money on gas, its 1.13L for 91 octane.
