Thread: HItting Dyno today - what do u predict

i am using a calum basic and calum sotware, as for the tuner burning chips i am not sure, but he using b14ve e60 maf 370 bin from calum i sent him. with the reprogamable chips he will be tunning it on the dyno.

Oh in that case you injectors wont support the power you will generate at 15 psi. I have done three ve-ts with t-25 and t25/28 turbos and I had one average 315-317 whp at 13 psi the other made 288whp with the boost dropping to 8 psi at the high end (avenir turbo). the other car made about the same. so the power you make will be limited by the inj's your running. Safe mode? Our cars won't rev over 3.5k in safe mode. Also your sig says 480cc and he's using a 370cc tune?

I'd be worried.

see that what i didnt understand, he told me that the ecu had a bad bin so it runs in whats called a safe mode. a back up default map. He just wanted a base map to start from and then he is going to be burning me chips with the new injector size. the 370cc base map is just a base ground to work from there.

limp mode is when ur car wont rev past 3.5k

I hit 334WHP/313WTQ at 18PSI on my GT28RS at 4500FT so I would think you'd at least be able to hit that. Mine was with a 6 year old off the shelf map from JWT that I got from Miko.
Let us know how it goes .

Im still sticking to my prediction of 103whp and 98ft/lbs. If he dynoed ur car in safe mode, i pretty sure my prediction would have been bang on

THis for me? I was on pump

pump gass for me. News so the ve bin i sent him didnt work, so he got a det bin and address file to work, but today his mother was in the hospital with cancers issues. So no progress... other then he got the car to start and run with the det file, i am hoping for friday to have my car back
