Thread: HItting Dyno today - what do u predict

I am waiting to hear on your numbers as well. I am finishing up my disco install. I am running S4's and 550 Injectors though. Hope to have it up in a few days, and get it dynoed the end of the week.

so i had i fed up today the guy was trying to tell me that she runs rich at idle because the fuel psi dampner on the ve fuel rain and i have oil leak, and i was fed up and told him to street tune the car and i will fix the issues and bring back... NOT.

So tomorrow i get the car and will go to a nother dyno shop and get it dynoed

so went to go see the car.... bam she running like shit, i have massive misfire, there what looking like oil coming out of cylinder #4.

so i have to fix that, and then he said he dyno it for me.......

so i am either going to rewire clips or get a full b14 harness and swap it. so i can get ride of the harness adaptor and get my iacv back.

How about some pics of your oil drain setup at least

oil out of cylinder#4? some more info please

so i went there and he tells me that i have oil coming out of cylinder number 4, i look and on the head where the maifold bolts up there is oil smoking and its all wet. this was with the 480 cc injectors, so i swap the 370s back in and the oil was burning off, its hard to say. he said it could be valve seals, or rings.


right now i am in the mood to go back to stock with rr and call it a day, never touch the car again

ok how do you know its comming from cyl 4 unless you ran it with no manifold?

no u can see te oil coming out of the cylinder port 4 the exhaust manifold is black in that part and has oil residue all over it

pfft all that tells you is there is a gasket leak somewhere and prob an external oil leak. If the shop is telling you if pistons of valve stem seals they are cooked!

The only way it will be pistons or valve stems is if you have a thick cloud of whiteish smoke coming out your tail pipe as well.

The shop sounds like a bunch of newbs

if it was pistons or valve stems the oil would be getting burnt in the combustion chamber, there would be no oil pooling on the no.4 port on the manifold.
