greddy BC issue
today i bought picked up a used greddy profec b 2 boost controller, and i cant get any boost out of it, it came with the greddy boost solinide and another replacement, aem style one.

so installed it, i am getting -0.90 vacuum and only 7.9 psi of boost, that what the factory wastegate is set to.

i tried everything, i even also rewired for the aem style boost solenoid and it wont build past 7.9 psi

i tired following the instruction manual, ive played with every setting and nothing works.... ?

anyone off some help

cheers

1st set gain...
Press mode button once then turn the set knob too like 25-30% and press and hold until it stops blinking to lock it in,that will determine how fast it will spool up.

2nd set boost..(this is in psi mode not kpa)
Press the mode button twice too set boost; turn the set knob too 100 if you want 10lbs of boost or 150 for 15lbs of boost then press and hold the set knob until it stop blinking, and boost is set.

3rd setting the power to make setting 1,2&3 work together and make power.
Now let it idle for a minute then turn the set knob to like 50-75%then press and hold until it locks in...then take it for a spin and feel the differance...

if that doesnt help then its another issue..good luck, let me know how it turns out..

I had a profec-b that would do the same thing soleinoid would come on and make weird noises but not boost controlling. Turns out the unit itself was bad and I wasted my money...great. Hope yours is alright but if the solenoid is getting power its the settings or the main box.

i ****en think i got burnt on this used product.... waste of 240 bucks. i am going to make it work some how. but back to my mbc for me.

i think its the brain as well because even if i put the boost warning to like 5 psi hight and low. it doesnt come on...?so i dont think its getting a signal or sending a signal to solenoid

when i first put mine on I set every thing but forgot to raise the set knob too like 75%..then it started too make more boost...im running an internal wg,so I only needed to use two of the ports and left the 3rd port open see pic below.

this is an example of how mine is set up on low boost (psi)

i had tried everything i even measured the or tried to measure the voltage coming out of the profec b 2 and it was zero... so i think the computer it self is ****ed

i have the same solenoid set up like that and even the aem style one set up like that, and if u blow on the com end air passed out to the no end. i am going to call greddy tomorrow, and see what they say.

cheers
