@STR8E180: ...nice shop...Powertune has some nice parts for the Sr20, i also like the bottom mount turbo manifolds made of steam steel, maybe an option for my track DET-silvia...

@THE_FUGITIVE: haha, ok, i want to know the quartermile-times as well, i will have times on summer tires within the next two weeks i guess...
i tested launching the car today two times on puplic roads just for fun and its really hard to get the balance between dropping the boost or wheelspin....

i estimate: 12,4 @ 127mph

nah you will need some good street and strip, Toyo Proxes RA1, Or Toyo Proxes TQ and maybe R1R , Mickey Thompsons or NOTHING!!! widest you can get imo,

warm up and launch eeet like its you btch

Toyo R888 is rubbish , mayb good for going around corners but not drag, notice i call out bout 3 toyos and not r888

i did a quarter mile run tonight with cold summer tires and a bad start @21psi: 13,1 seconds @ 124mph
i kept on going for the entire mile with a mega misshift 4-5 (lost almost 3 seconds, shitty synchros on my RB tranny) and trapspeed was 176mph....with a perfect shift i think 179mph....

....coming back from another standing mile try with better shifting: 180mph Trapspeed !!!I am happy. Boost was 21-22 psi....

Theres no plan to take the VET to the ring at the moment, race track is just not the purpose of that car, my white DET s14 is for track but waiting for a tranny and engine refreshment. I booked a trackday on the nordschleife end of august to give myself little pressure to bring my track car back on the road. My plan is to go under 8 min laptime on street legal tires which is tough but possible with that car... Come over here and i give you a ride in the "green hell"
A VET in my track car would of course be mega but i just dont have the money to do that conversion again...there are so many details that cost money if it has to be done nicely...
