short news, i did a quartermile-test with new boost controler, now 22psi in midrange going down to 19psi until the rev limiter. Bad start: 13,2s@116mph. (puplic road, normal tires) I will retry to do 12,9@117mph and take an onbord-video.

Made almost 5000mls now with the VET engine, was in italy for sommer vacation with it last week, without any issues, reliable like an old toyota :-)

yesterday on the autobahn i went 45 seconds over 175mph, maximum was 182mph, then water went too high and i slowed down...

...like my VET

i use Bridgestone RE 050 tires (normal summer tires, no performance)

launchingthe car is not easy because of wheelspin in first gear when boost hits in....

i will retry, i am sure with some attempts a 12,9 is realistic. (Would be my ever first 12sec time, but quartermile does not have that meaning in europe than in US, but there are some freaks here around that put a highly loadad R32 volkswagen engine in a 1980 polo doing 8th with AWD conversion.

Bigger turbo for next season....thats for sure....still not sure if 3076 of holset HX35....still not sure if twin scroll or not....(twin scroll is better but more complex and complex means reduced reliability...)

i ordered a stiffer wastegate-spring so i can hold 22psi all the way...i try to absolutely maxout my 2871 this year....hopefully come close to 120mph trap speed....

high grip tires.....for sure that brings better quartermile times, but it kills gearboxes and my box gets louder and louder every month and i want to bring it over the season....
