Well mine is going to be a GT3076R with a JWT program for Z32 and 72lb , on a 9.5 compression

I don't see a need for 122 enless you are really pushing the limit and shooting for over 2000 hp or something crazy like that.

Also with the idle issues, there are many honda guys running around with 1600cc injectors on the streets. I am going to be running 1600ccs on my drag/street car but I am going to be using my IACV like sniper so that I can get the car to idle right.

Uh, because on VP import with a boosted engine you can have an asswhack of timing in conjunction with 40psi and 9+:1 cr spinning to 11,000 rpm and be fine.
An NA motor uses completely different fuel then a F/I nad even at 15:1 would not see the ind if cylinder pressures and volatile combustion environment as the above mentioned boosted engine. That is why VP makes fuels specific for different groups of motorsport and car classes.

Sure you can run on 1600cc inj and idle, but not with the quality of idle and fuel mileage as a smaller injector. The sr16ve idles at 1500rpm from the factory, but not fun to drive evry day like that, kinda like a car with 1600cc inj everyday.

There is no need for race gas, unless your going to run a lot of boost, depends all on your tuning, otherwise you are gona loose power putting something over 93 in your car, cause then its going to use more power to burn that higher octane that the car doesn't need. Personally im not a fan of jwt computers and i dont know that much about tuning them, if you can tune them, idk, so i can't comment any more.

i think if you are going to go with race gas that you should definitly lot alot of tuning time to really see the benifits of race race, like fro said you can have alot of timing and up the boost and make ALOT of power, but i would lot a good ammount of dyno and tuning otherwise its a waste

I thought a splash of race gas in every tank would alow me to run a higher boost level with out expancing detonation as easily

well you can, you can add xx ammount of c16 to xx ammount of pump to raise the octane level. that is cool to do.

That is what I was inteding to do , but I was going to buy a drum so that I had it on hand and did not have to go order it every time I wanted to put gas in the car ....

I gotta say that is retarded for a street car. Just go buy a civic...

Seriously though, its a street car, either build the motor to make more power or be satisfied with what you have.

At the very least if you must stretch the limits of your build for daily street driven activities use water meth/alky windshield washer fluid with a controller and tune for the 91 or 93 oct (location dependent) with the alky activating given "X" of boost/knock value to cool the inlet temp and reduce the knock then tune accordingly.

research water/alky injection, much better idea then splash-o-race gas in every tank. Just buy $3 gallons of windshield washer fluid and make more and more rliable power at less expense then a splash form your $1000 drum of gas in every tank.

Yeah I would have to agree with fro on this one..... There is seriously no point in just putting a splash of race gas.....maybe grab some Torco fuel additive, but either way you have to tune in the higher octane to see the full potential of your additive. So yes the use of meth inj i would rather see you guys do than just throw some race gas in. You have to tune for any of this though.....You will need to adjust your timing, fuel, while keeping your knock/detonation at ZERO!!!!!! The alky/ meth inj you can tune to the maf, or boost dependent, ect....
