Before that using 3 different 75w90 oils, I went through 3 stacks in 3 months after going to the twin disk clutch.

is there a specific brand of 85w140 you use?

Valvoline conventional is what I was using. Im going to switch to the Durablend though just to have a synthetic back in there but should still do the exact same job as the conventional oil as they have the same shock absorbing properties.

Never used Redline stuff. Only have experience with the Valvoline. So far again no issues. Im going to stick with it until it proves otherwise. But with that much power and such crappy weak gears anyways. Only soo much is going to help prevent breakages.

For sure, no need to mess with a good thing.

Thanks, I love the 240 and I love the 200 two different animals both equally fun to drive. The 200sx was the first car I actually got my own loan for and bought so it has sentimental value to me. The 240 was the car I really wanted when I graduated high school (showing my age here lol) also has sentimental value. I will be buried with both vehicles I will buy a plot big enough for the 3 of us LOL. I have big plans for the 240 I have a garret gtx3071, fullrace manifold single gate bought it used and a bunch of other stuff that is sitting till I buy the rest of the pieces to the puzzle, missing 96lbs injectors and a few odds and ends really excited about it we will see.
