Thread: Help - 3 Blown Turbos in 9 Months

I figured the first came blown and the second was crappy.. Im leaning towards my drain being the problem.. Dont have pics yet but will soon..

There was a guy who was blowing turbos a bunch like you who was getting his oil feed PRE-oil filter which meant the oil was not being filtered. Make sure your oil feed is from a spot POST-oil filter so it's filtered oil by the oil filter.

Personally after I had some issues with one turbo I put an inline oil filter going to the turbo. cheap insurance if you ask me.

OT but sweet set up, is that the MEVI motor???

only thing that stayed the same besides 3 turbos.. is oil lines..

remove valve cover an check for sludge
